The 2003-2004 Friends officers are:
President: Christine Fellin

Members-at-Large: Muriel Ade,
Winona Manello, and Katherine Cole
Begun in 1982 (or, more accurately, resurrected from an
earlier group which did not prosper), the Friends are a source of great assistance
to the Library in a multiplicity of ways. The annual Book Sale, the Sidewalk
Book sales,
and other fundraisers generate revenue, which is then used to
purchase materials for the Library and to sponsor children's and adult
programs. The Friends have generously donated the library's new
illuminated sign, which is located outside the library. The
sign announces library programs and services.
In addition, the friends
are co-sponsoring the Third Thursday Poetry Series for 2003 with the Cultural
and Heritage Commission of the County of Somerset.
