The Sayreville Free Public Library is located just between the
Sayreville War Memorial High School and Sayreville Middle School,
on Washington Road, overlooking John F. Kennedy Park.

From Route 1— south of Sayreville:

Exit at Route 18 South
After about one mile, exit at “Edgeboro Road- Old Bridge Turnpike- South River”
Cross Route 18 and bear right onto Old Bridge Turnpike
Make left at second light, Prospect Street
Follow Prospect Street to end.
Make left onto Main Street.
Go over bridge into Sayreville.
Continue 2.6 miles after bridge. The Library will be on your right, just after the Sayreville Middle School. Make right at LIBRARY sign into library parking lot.

From Routes 1, 9, 440, or 287 — north of Sayreville:

Take Route 9 south. Cross the Raritan River. Pass Amboy Cinemas on your left.
Merge with Route 35. Stay in right lane.
Continue approx. 1 mile to an exit labeled Sayreville - Parlin / All Turns. (Right Lane Must Exit)
Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Raritan Street. Pass big blue water tank on left. The name of the road changes to Washington Road.
Continue straight through three traffic lights. The Library will be on your left, just after the Sayreville War Memorial High School.

From Route 9— south of Sayreville:

Take 9 north through Old Bridge
Exit at Ernston Road. At the end of the ramp, turn left.
Continue on Ernston Road to the Washington Road traffic light. (The 3rd light.)
Turn left onto Washington Road. The Library will be on your left, just after the Sayreville War Memorial High School.

From NJ Turnpike:

From south of Sayreville:

Take Exit 9 to Route 18 South and follow directions above

From north of Sayreville:

Exit 11 to Route 9 South and follow directions above for Route 9, north of Sayreville.

From Garden State Parkway

From south of Sayreville

Exit at 120
Make right at exit
Make right at first light
Make left at end of road
Make right at end of road, onto Route 34
Stay on Route 34 which flows into Route 9
Exit at Ernston Road
Make left at the end of ramp.
Follow Ernston Road to the third light and make a left onto Washington Road. The Library will be on your left, just after the Sayreville War Memorial High School.

From north of Sayreville:

Take Exit 124
Make left at the end of the ramp.
Make right at first light, onto Washington Road
Go straight. About ¼ mile past the second light (Ernston Road) look for a LIBRARY sign on the left, just after the Sayreville War Memorial High School.
