This is an at home, individual reading program. No library meetings will be held. After registering for our special reading club each child may select books of interest to himself or herself, take them home, read and return to be counted on their special bug reading log. All children who have completed the summer reading program will receive a special “Catch the Reading Bug” gift and have their name entered in a random drawing for further prizes.
Children may sign up at any of the Edison Public Library branches and Bookmobile, but must remember to only select one site.

If you have “ants in your pants” and can’t sit for long come to the library and hear some great stories about these marching insects that know what they can accomplish with teamwork.

Find out what the “book buzz’ is all about! Each week a different bug clue will be given. Go “Buggy for books” by identifying the bug, bug character, or book title correctly and you will be eligible to win a grand prize! Younger children may have adult help.

Edison Public Library will hold a series of special storytime programs for children with autism beginning in September. This program meets once a month on Friday mornings at the North Edison Branch. It is open to children with autism living in Edison or registered at an Edison Township school. Space is limited so participants must call the library at (732)548-0845 x228 each month to register their child to attend this special event.

This special program will be offered on once a month at all our Edison library branches. Join us for a ½ hour of songs, stories and activities to stimulate your child. This is a drop-in program with limited space so please arrive early. Sorry no siblings permitted in the room during the programming. NOTE: Each branch will be presenting their own themes. For this reason unlike other programs that require you to pick only one location to attend, children may attend the lapsit programs at all the branches.
